About this course

Spring is coming and the warmer weather is here so why not introduce macrame into your home.  Macrame is relaxing and therapeutic craft, as it keeps your hands busy and gives your mind time to rest.   


You will develop your skills of knots that you may have been introduced to in the beginner's course.  This course is based on projects themed spring and Easter feel.   


You receive a list of materials once you book onto the course. - this is project-based course, and these are different projects to the 2021 course. 


At the end of the course, you will have an understanding of some the equipment and materials available.  You will have had the chance to try some mini projects to create Spring projects. 


Within the course learners will gain an understanding of; 

  • Macrame equipment 
  • Macrame knots 

Materials & Equipment Required: 

  • Macrame cord - require 3 or 5mm twisted ply cord (requirements for projects) 
  • Beads 
  • Knotting Board/Cork board  
  • T – Pins or holding pins (useful but not essential – tutor has some to use in class)

  • Scissors

  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
