About this course

This supportive session is designed to help learners use digital tools to access information, advice and guidance (IAG) that can support employability and job searching.

It has been designed with neurodivergent people in mind, offering a calm, structured and low-pressure environment. It is also open to anyone who prefers a quieter approach to learning digital skills.

Learners will be guided through key employability platforms, with a particular focus on Indeed and LinkedIn, exploring how to search for roles, understand job listings, and begin building an online professional presence at a comfortable pace. The session will be practical, clear and step-by-step, with no expectation to share personal information or participate beyond individual comfort levels and takes place at Arnold Library in Room 1, a large classroom with its own kitchenette and toilet facilities.

1:1 support will be available throughout.

The session is supported by Work’n’Diversity, specialists in designing inclusive workspaces and delivering programmes from a neuro-inclusive perspective. Inspire Learning staff will provide digital support, and there will be personalised information, advice and guidance from our IAG officer.

It is suitable for adults who want support with digital employability skills in a calm, understanding and inclusive setting and is funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.
