This qualification is intended for those who Assess Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) vocational qualifications within a College or other Adult Education Centre and is a requirement of their role to achieve this.
You will build a balanced portfolio of evidence that proves that you have the skills, knowledge and understanding to meet the Assessor award standards. This will include completing a total of 4 Components/Units from a minimum of 2 learners (2 Components/units with each candidate). Your Course Tutor/Assessor will judge your evidence and provide you with additional evidence by carrying out observations of you in your role.
You will:
• Be able to prepare assessments of vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
• Be able to carry out assessments of vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
• Be able to provide required information following the assessment of vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
• Be able to maintain legal and good practice requirements when assessing vocational skills, knowledge and understanding
You must already be within a team of assessors and have a lead Internal Quality Assurance within your organisation to allocate and monitor you with at least 2 vocational based learners. You should already hold at least level 2 in English.
As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop or computer will be required to access the course. The link for you to join the live sessions will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.
