Local writer Martin Jones (creator of British horror magazine Bedabbled!) returns to Retford library to look at the work of world-renowned ghost story writer M.R. James. We are delighted to have Martin back with the promise of another informative and highly entertaining presentation.
M.R. James, who died in 1936, was renowned for his chilling tales of the macabre. Many of these stories have been turned into films and BBC dramas.
Martin will be looking at M.R. James’ stories, as well as considering the importance of James as a writer of the horror literary landscape.
This talk will be a must for fans of classic ghost stories!
Tickets cost £2. Contact Retford Library to book.
