Visit Stapleford Library for Victory in Europe (VE) Day celebrations. Share memories of VE Days past and more including:

  • Heritage display and exhibition of images/newspaper articles from Stapleford and across Nottinghamshire.
  • A fascinating talk from Stapleford and District Local History Society, about local men who served in World War Two (3pm)
  • Complimentary street party food and drinks available (12pm - 5pm)
  • Community memory display: View and contribute your own memories of VE Day celebrations over the years.
  • Book displays for all ages, encouraging you to learn more about VE Day beyond the day's celebrations
  • FREE craft activities for children - no booking required, just drop in!
