Eleanor Bruce and Lucilla Gray will share their new book, Things We Found in the Ground: A Metal Detecting Journey Through Britain.

After meeting for the first time in more than 20 years at their grandfather’s home in Lincolnshire, cousins Eleanor and Lucilla discover a shared fascination with the past. What begins with a curiosity about historic artefacts leads them on a metal detecting journey, uncovering remarkable objects and the stories they reveal about those who came before us.

Along the way, they discover more about themselves and forge connections with local villagers, fellow detectorists and history lovers.
