We teach our children rhymes and years later they teach the same rhymes to their children,  And so it has been for hundreds of years.

The original reason for the rhymes has, by and large, been completely lost and forgotten.  'Reason and Rhyme', presented by Sam Millard, looks at the original meaning of rhymes and how they have been recorded over time. Following on from Sam's sell-out Reason and Rhyme talk at West Bridgford Library, it reveals even more rhymes and the reasons behind them!
