Hexameter - a group of poets from Sheffield, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire who meet at Southwell Library - invite you for a fun evening of Poetry Bingo live at the library! Poems will be drawn ‘live’ on the night from a selection that includes work by local poets and well-known old favourites. Should a local poet be present, and their poem drawn, they’ll be invited to perform it live, and audience members will be given chances to read well-loved favourites.
Audience members will be given the opportunity to suggest poems for the ‘lottery’ when booking their ticket. Other suggestions can be passed directly to Southwell Library. All suggestions must be made before 7 September.
