Join members of the Orchestra of Opera North and Inspire Music for a FREE relaxed 45 minute musical story time in the Dress Circle foyer, upstairs in the Theatre Royal Nottingham. Perfect for young children and their families.
Start time 3pm, performance approx. 45mins. Doors open from 2.30pm.
During story time we will explore the tale of The Duck with No Luck, with musical accompaniment from the orchestra, composed by Paul Rissman, the award-winning composer of SUPERSONIC, an interactive sequel to Benjamin Britten’s Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra. Engaging with the music is actively encouraged!
Afterwards there’ll be a chance to meet and chat to the players at the end of the performance to find out more about your favourite music and instruments.
FREE, but booking essential due to restricted audience capacity.
