Newark Library are delighted to offer a Big Screen Experience in the comfortable setting of the library
The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular 1970s group ABBA.
This relaxed screening is particularly suitable for people living with dementia and memory challenges, their family and friends but anyone is welcome. Please feel free to talk, sing and move during the screening.
Doors will open 15 minutes before the screening and there will be a 20 minute interval. We will be sensitive to the audience when it comes to lighting and volume. A quiet space for anyone needing a brief break from the film will be available and toilets - including an accessible toilet - are also just outside the door.
The event is in the meeting room. There is step free access throughout the building. We will also have wheelchair spaces available.
