Inspire Poetry Festival: Nature Poetry - Sherwood Forest Up Close

Join former Derbyshire Wildlife Trust poet in residence Sian Tower for this creative workshop inspired by the exhibition of nature photography by Alex Hyde on show in the library gallery.

In Sherwood Forest Up Close, photographer Alex Hyde has captured some of the special species of Sherwood Forest in fascinating detail. Poets have always looked to nature for inspiration, and in this workshop, we’ll look closely at these magnificent pictures to see the natural world from new angles, and capture what we see in words. 

No previous writing experience necessary, just come along and have a go!
