Ravenshead Library's 50th Birthday Celebrations

Ravenshead Library will be celebrating it's 50th Birthday on Saturday 18 June 2022 and we invite you to join us! 

We will be holding a programme of free and fun activities throughout the day, and celebrating with refreshments and cake. We are delighted to be joined by local Historian, ex- Librarian and member of the Inspire Board: Philip Jones, who has had family connections to Ravenshead since 1958. Philip Jones will be giving a talk at 10am called 'A Ravenshead Miscellany'. 

The order of the day is as follows:

• 10am - Talk by local Historian Philip Jones: 'A Ravenshead Miscellany' 
• 10.30am - 12pm - Coffee and birthday cake 
• 11am - 12pm - Children's activity: Build a Brick Library (for ages 4 - 11 with a parent/carer) 
• All day - Exhibition: 50 Years of Ravenshead Library
