Regular Games and Lego Clubs

Our libraries have a host of fun regular activities to get involved in including board games, jigsaws and lego. 

From ongoing community jigsaws to board game clubs for adults and children, find out how to get involved in the fun below.

Bingham Lego Club for Children Every Saturday, 1-3pm.
Calverton Family Games Club Every Saturday, 10am-12 noon
Carlton Lego Club Every other Saturday, 9:30am - 12:30pm
Collingham Lego Club Every Saturday 9:30am - 12:30pm
Cotgrave Lego Club Every other Saturday (from 20 September) 10am - 11:30am. All ages welcome, free drop-in session.
East Leake Lego Club and Games Café Alternate Saturdays, 10am-12 noon
Eastwood Family Games Choose from a variety of children’s games 4- 5pm. Term-time only.
Games Club Drop-in to join our friendly Games Club every Thursday, 2pm - 4pm
Chess Alternate Tuesdays (from 26 August) 10.30am - 12.30pm
Farnsfield Community Jigsaw Ongoing - pop in and take part whenever!
Hucknall Board Games and Colouring for Children Every Saturday, 1pm-4pm
Kimberley Scrabble Club Second Friday of every month, 10:30am-11:30pm
Games Club Fourth Friday of every month, 1:30pm-3pm
Chess Club Alternate Saturdays 10am–12pm
Lego Club Alternate Saturdays 10am–12pm

Ladybrook Lego Club for Children Tuesday, 3:15pm - 4:15pm (starting 20 February 2024) and Saturdays 10am - 11am
Mapperley Chess Club Every Wednesday, 2:15pm - 4:30pm, with extra sessions during the school holidays. Ask in the library for details.
Newark Adult Scrabble Club Every Saturday, 1pm - 3pm
Lego and Games Club Every Saturday 10am -12 noon
Ollerton Lego Club Every Monday, 4-5pm and every Saturday, 10am-12pm
Southwell Lego Club for Children Every Saturday, 10am-12 noon
Stapleford Chess Club Second & Fourth Thursday of every month. Open to people of all ages and skill, including long-time players or people new to the game. Free, no booking required. 1:30pm – 5:30pm

Sutton-in-Ashfield Board Games for Bored Kids Every Saturday starting 20 September 2025, 11am-12pm
Lego Club for Children Every Saturday, 10am-11am. Booking advised - contact the library to book.
