Enjoy FREE events for the whole family at your local Inspire library this summer!
Our libraries are the perfect place to enjoy time together as a family. Aside from our regular events like Rattle, Rhyme and Roll, Storyhullabaloo and Lego Clubs, there are tons of activities taking place during the holidays.
All events are FREE and no booking required, unless otherwise stated. Have a browse below for a library near you, and come and take a peek at what's in store...

3D Elephants & Echidnas Craft
Drop into Collingham Library between 10am and 12pm on August 28th for our free 3D Elephants & Echidnas Craft.
Suitable for children under 12, free of charge and no booking required.

It's Big Bricks week! Drop in and get creative with Lego and Big Bricks in this hands-on building sessions. Perfect for children who love designing, constructing and bringing their ideas to life!

Painter's Wheel
Get creative and make your own picture with our

Lego Club
Every Saturday throughout the school holidays we will be running a Lego Club at Eastwood Library.
Get creative and flex your building skills.
It starts on Saturday 25 July, and the last session will be on Saturday 29 August.
This is for ages 5+, and parental supervision is required.

Summer Reading Challenge Crafts
Get creative and let your imagination groove! Inspired by this year’s Summer Reading Challenge theme, Read to the Beat, our children's craft activities will celebrate music, rhythm, stories and self-expression. There’s something for every young maker to enjoy.

Hunt the Character Quiz
Find the Read to the Beat Summer Reading Challenge Characters hidden around the library to complete the quiz.
Free event for children aged 4-11 years with a parent/carer.
No booking required. Call in during library opening hours from Saturday 4 July until Saturday 5 September.

Create your caterpillar and then help it find it's rhythm as it jiggles and jives. Children under the age of 8 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
