Retford Young People's Centre

Inspire College runs from Retford Young People's Centre, providing courses for school leavers in a small and friendly environment.  

We are here to bridge the gap from leaving school to starting work, or moving into further education or training.

We are easily accessible as we are located in Retford town centre, right next to the bus station.

During break times learners can relax with activities such as playing a game of pool. We have kitchen facilities and a comfortable seating area, as well as having access to outdoor space with seating and green gym equipment.

The courses on offer at this base are:

• Maths and English GCSE resits and Functional Skills
• Aim Award Qualifications in Employability and Personal and Social Development
• Traineeships

The support we offer to prepare you for your future:

• Work placement opportunities
• Volunteering and enrichment opportunities such as involvement in community projects
• Information, advice and guidance on deciding your next steps
• Writing CVs, and applications to colleges and workplaces
• Interview skills
• Talks from employers
• Workplace visits
