Contribute ideas for unique BBC orchestra concert in Nottingham

This autumn the BBC Concert Orchestra will be performing in Nottingham and are inviting young people from our region to help shape a unique concert. Will you send us your ideas?

About the concert

The BBC Concert Orchestra will be performing in Nottingham on 10th November 2025, to be broadcast at a later date on Radio 3. 

How young people can contribute

For the first stage of this, the BBC team are looking for ideas for:

• pieces that are important to young people
• local musicians/soloists who might be suitable to perform with the orchestra
• ways to celebrate and showcase the Nottinghamshire region 

The concert will be broadcast on national radio, and ideas must be suitable for a family audience.

Please include YouTube or Spotify links to suggested pieces where possible.
Once all the ideas are in, a group of young people will meet with the BBC to decide which are the best ideas to take forward.
