The Summer Reading Challenge is back in libraries this summer!
Join author and illustrator Bethan Woollvin and Inspire Libraries for a virtual assembly to introduce Read to the Beat, Summer Reading Challenge 2026.
The session will explain everything you and your pupils need to know about this years Challenge. We will cover how to join, what the challenge is and showcase the brilliant FREE rewards children earn by completing reading goals during the summer.
Author and illustrator Bethan Woollvin will then introduce a fun mini workshop inspired by her fractured fairytale, Robin Hood.
Enjoy an interactive story time and then be encouraged to grab your pencils and learn how to draw characters from the book in a fun draw-a-long session!
