You will boost your employability and business skills as we cover areas such as marketing, customer engagement, and generating creative ideas and business plans, as you discover how AI can save you time and money. Discover how AI tools can: Generate and refine business ideas, help devise a business plan, boost your marketing efforts, save time on routine tasks, improve customer engagement, help you stay ahead of the competition No tech background required – just curiosity and a willingness to learn. This practical, hands-on course will introduce you to the tools, trends, and ethical considerations behind AI in business, with your own real-world examples and simple step-by-step activities. What will learners achieve by the end of the course? Define artificial intelligence (AI), and offer examples of its use in business contexts. Identify at least three ways AI is currently being used in marketing, giving examples relevant to different industries. Name at least four different AI-powered tools and what they can be used for. Use AI to create one piece of marketing content suitable for a business audience. Create a basic social media or email campaign using an AI tool, demonstrating the ability to apply digital technology to communication tasks. Describe the ethical implications and data privacy considerations involved in using AI for business purposes. Analyse simple customer data using an AI-supported platform. Evaluate the strengths and limitations of at least two AI tools for use in a small business, showing awareness of cost, ease of use, and relevance. Compare manual vs AI-driven processes for content creation, highlighting time-saving and quality differences. Demonstrate the ability to improve a piece of business content (e.g., blog, product description) using AI suggestions. Describe how AI can create a business plan using adapted and individualised prompts. Reflect on your own confidence and ability to use AI in a work setting, identifying further learning needs or future goals.
