About this course

Suitable for beginners, this course will guide you through creating some lovely Autumn crafts. Over the sessions, we will use felt to create unique pictures or decorations that you can use to decorate your home. 

Within the course you will be taught:

•Different methods to construct and assemble your work 

•Decorative techniques for embellishment 

•Simple hand sewing techniques 

Resources required by attendees

- a choice of coloured felt pieces (yellows, oranges, reds, browns and a mix of other colours would be useful ) 

- any seed beads & small beads 

- a variety of sequins & buttons 

- thin ribbon or ricrac 

- a pair of small or medium sized fabric scissors 

- a basic sewing kit with a needle and pins 

- dressmakers’ thread (to match felt being used) 

- some embroidery thread/silks would be useful (in colours similar to the felt being used) 

- an embroidery needle

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
