Learn the basics of off-loom beadweaving to create jewellery using a needle and thread to weave glass beads together. In this introduction to beadweaving, you’ll learn how to create beautiful and intricate jewellery pieces using just a needle, thread, and seed beads. You’ll be introduced to essential tools and materials before learning a selection of beginner-friendly beadweaving techniques.
Across the sessions, you’ll make a right-angle weave bracelet, peyote stitch tube beads, and a brick stitch earring or pendant. You’ll also learn how to transform your beadwork into wearable jewellery by adding clasps, ear wires, and other findings.
