Want to know which websites to check for the latest money saving deals? 

Just want help with the numbers to understand the offers available? 

If so, Budgeting Tips and Tricks is for you. 

This one-off session has been designed to signpost you to useful money saving websites but also to explain the ‘maths’ behind the deals. Your tutor will help boost your confidence with numbers so you can save money. 

You will: 

• look at different money saving deals and work out the saving 
• carry out group activities to allow you to recap maths calculations needed to understand what different deals offer 

By boosting your confidence with, adding, subtracting, finding totals and percentages, you will be able to look at a deal and use ‘a bit of maths’ to work out how much you can save. 

This course is for people who don’t have a level 2 qualification in maths (GCSE C/4 or above). You will self-declare this on the enrolment form.
