If so, Buying online – what’s the cost? is the course for you.

You will:

improve your understanding of transacting online. 

learn about different digital payment methods 

explore possible security risks 

Plus learn how to make a secure payment online. 

The session will cover:

Ways to pay (debit, credit, digital wallet, paypal, direct carrier, Klarna)  

Delivery costs / options (postage, delivery date / time / location - distances)  

Entering payment details (1:1 number correspondence, DOB/date formats, calendar drop down date selection)  

Online payment internet safety considerations (encryption, how to spot a fake website).

This course is for people who don't have a level 2 qualification in Maths (GCSE grade C/4 or above). You will self-declare this on the enrolment form.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

• Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
