About this course

About this course

Would you like to know how to save money on your broadband and car insurance?

Not sure what all the numbers mean on a comparison website?

If so, Comparison websites – how to save money is for you.

By the end of the course, you will know more about,

• comparison sites – why are they helpful / how can they save you money

• what do the results mean? (star rating, lowest price, number of reviews, what’s included)

• how to filter and sort – the purpose of these functions

This session will look at the features of a comparison website and explain how they can be used to save you money. The course will improve your confidence with numbers: finding totals, the difference in cost and how to filter large amounts of information.

This course is for people who don’t have a level 2 qualification in maths (GCSE C/4 or above). You will self-declare this on the enrolment form.
