The course aims to enable learners with limited existing digital skills to safely access opportunities presented online to improve their lives. Learners will learn how to develop their practical skills through step-by-step confidence-building learning experiences that will act as a springboard to further learning and raised aspirations.
Digital technology now touches almost every aspect of our lives from online banking to communicating with relatives. In this course, you will explore the opportunities available through accessing the digital world in addition to supporting you to overcome any personal challenges.
You will be given careful support to get online and stay safe online, with guidance on how to spot a scam and get practical tips to help keep you safe. You will also learn about the ins and outs of online banking to dispel any fears and understand how banks keep your account safe.
What will learners achieve by the end of the course? What are your learning outcomes?
What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?
