About this course
If you can already talk about yourself, your family, your interests and your pets in French, and you would like to start talking about more varied topics, this is the French course for you. You will be exposed to spoken French through videos and discussions, and, more importantly, you will have plenty of opportunities to speak and develop your confidence. This is a relaxed class where you will meet other learners interested in travelling and francophone culture.
On the course, we will cover a different topic each week. These will be food, cinema, sports, arts, and more. Each session will give the learners the opportunity to learn about some aspect of French culture and to share their own ideas and experiences, all in French. This is a course focused on speaking and listening.
What will you achieve by the end of the course?
- Converse in French about a range of topics.
- Give your opinion on different subjects.
- Show you understand others when others speak French by responding accurately.
- Display your knowledge of Francophone culture through conversations.
- Speak in front of a group.
