About this course

The intent of this course is to learn the basics of Crochet to create simple products. Learners will gain confidence in following basic instructions, and trouble shooting.

What will be covered on the course?

The History of Crochet
Casting on and chain stitch
Double Stitch
Treble Stich
Half Treble
Crocheting Circles.
Designing and creating new Crochet products.

The learners will be able to:

Demonstrate a range of simple crochet stitches.
Identify and troubleshoot mistakes.
Create simple products and improve design skills.

This is a course for absolute beginners, so no knowledge is needed.

This course covers the very basics of Crochet, and may not be appropriate for who already have a solid basic understanding of the craft.

Learners may wish to being their own hooks and yarns.
