On this course, we will look at how to hold a Crochet hook and yarn/wool to create a purse/bag using a variety of crochet stitches and sewing skills. We will explore the history of Crochet, and you will build up an understanding of the different terminology used for English and American Crochet stitches (crochet hook size conversion for metric, US & UK.)
By the end of the course, you will show secure knowledge of how to hold a hook and yarn/wool and how to do a variety of crochet stitches, such as single, double, treble and slip stitch. You will gain an understanding of the history around crochet and understand the different terminology used for English and American crochet stitches.
