This course aims to equip you with the skills needed to get back into the workplace.
During this course you will cover:
Session 1: Getting to work
Reading timetables, understanding the 24H clock and duration. Useful transport apps and money saving tickets.
Session 2: Applying for a job
Online forms, looking at different numerical data formats (DOB, dates). Listing previous employment chronologically.
Session 3: Budgeting
The cost of getting to work and being at work eg. transport costs, childcare, lunch etc… Useful apps to help with budgeting. Understanding a wage slip.
This course is for people who don't have a level 2 qualification (GCSE grade C/4 or above) in Maths. You will self-declare this on the enrolment form.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
