This course is an introduction to methods to help your child with maths for ESOL learners.
What will be covered on the course?
On the course we’ll cover school maths topics and methods to support your child, e.g. using maths words, grid methods of multiplication, chunking in division and place value.
What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
By the end of the course, you’ll have:
This course is suitable for anyone 19+ and for learners whose first language is not English. This course is for people who don’t have a level 2 qualification in maths (GCSE C/4 or above). You will self-declare this on the enrolment form.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
