About this course

About this course

From Origami to printmaking - felting to Embroidery - Festive Crafts explores a range of crafting techniques.  If you want to get into crafts in time for the Festive period, this is the course for you. This course explores the technical side of crafting, which will give you the skills to embed in future projects.  You will be introduced to various techniques to express your creativity, whilst learning with likeminded people.  Through step-by-step projects you will produce a range of effective pieces you can take home, gift or sell.

By the end of the course, you will be able to demonstrate a range of basic crafts techniques. You will have knowledge about the history of the craft and be able to problem solve to enhance your work. You will create wonderful products you can gift, keep or sell. You will achieve the skills to give you the confidence to take you onto a more specified craft course. This course will cover the technical skills within the following areas:

  • Origami
