About this course

Learners will understand basic employability training, and improve their ability to achieve employment.

Be able to identify specific parts of a CV and their importance
Recognise transferrable skills from their previous employment
Be able to create a successful targeted CV
Understand the content and necessity of a supporting cover letter
Be able to file save and upload applications

You will need:

Pen, paper and any old or existing CV if possible
It’s advisable to write down previous work history, skills and experience ( last job first, down to present day)

This is an online course. You will need a suitable electronic device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access. Learners will be required to download and use Zoom (free software).

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
