About this course

To understand the concept of what foot reflexology is, covering a variety of massage techniques and the many benefits of foot reflexology. We will look at how the foot and the hand and the ear are like a map of our bodies and gain an understanding of the different areas of the foot and how they correspond to certain parts of our body - such as where our heart, liver and lungs are. This art can be connected to Chinese medicine by linking it with different pressure points throughout the body. You will also learn how to perform a reflexology on each other and on self.

By the end of the course learners will have knowledge of what massage is and how to perform a reflexology massage to themselves and others, covering Health and Safety and the history behind this relaxing art, and the many physical and mental benefits.

Please bring:

A drink – water or juice, notebook and pen, cream, hand towel, cushion/pillow
