This course helps you to learn some language skills whilst discovering cultural aspects of the German speaking world. The course is designed to support you in creating and structuring sentences in German. The course will cover a variety of grammar aspects such as word order, verb conjugation, adjectives and nouns.
You will continue to learn to understand and respond to spoken and written German. You will build on your prior knowledge of basic vocabulary expressing opinions and participate in dialogues.
By the end of the course you will be able to understand how to construct sentences in German and grow more confident in asking and answering questions in German.
Through this course you will be able to increase you intercultural knowledge and have the opportunity to meet others with an interest in languages and cultures. Furthermore, the course enhances communication skills and raises confidence when traveling abroad or learning other foreign languages.
A basic knowledge of German greetings, question words and opinion phrases such as is covered in the beginner German course offered would be advantageous.
Basic numeracy and literacy is required.
As this course is online, a suitable device such as laptop, smart phone, tablet or computer will be required to access the course. Zoom will be used for the live sessions and the link will be sent to you once your enrolment has been completed.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
