Guitar for Beginners - Online Course - Community Learning - 09:30-10:30

About this course

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

• Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING
• Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

Introduction to guitar, a structured and very accessible course with access to bespoke online. The course will cover 

• Playing to the pulse / beat & basic rhythms, Beginner chords using 3 or 4 strings (mini chords) , Introduction to basic melodies & reading music / guitar tablature , Most importantly all of the above is learned while playing cool pop songs!  
• By the end of the course learners will be able to play basic guitar chords and melodies along to tailor made and flexible backing tracks of vibrant pop songs (Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake etc) 

A fully stringed & working guitar is required. It will be really helpful if it could be tuned prior to the start of the each lesson – instructions will be sent to learners but the tutor is also happy to help with this, if extra help needed at the start of lessons. 

As this course is online learners will require access to a laptop, smart phone, computer or tablet, and the course will be delivered though Zoom.
