About this course

ReNew is for residents of Newark and Sherwood. If you are currently not in employment and not able to actively look for work then this is a free course to give you the chance to learn a new skill in our friendly, informal ReNew classes at Ollerton Library.

In this taster session, we will learn the basics of plant propagation from seed and seedling transplants.  Transfer what you learn so that you can grow your own vegetables and herbs from home in limited spaces.

This workshop is funded by Newark & Sherwood District Council and is free to all Newark & Sherwood residents.  For those who book a place in advance, we will be providing a free breakfast sandwich - please ensure to complete the enrolment form so that your order can be placed before the session.  This course is also part of a wider summer school programme in Newark.  If you attend 4 out of the 5 NSDC funded courses (please contact us to find out which sessions qualify) - you will be entered into a free prize draw to win a shopping voucher.

All resources will be provided for this session.

These courses are provided by Inspire Learning via the UKSPF project and you will be asked to complete a Newark & Sherwood District Council enrolment form at the sessions.
