During this one-day course you will learn to apply different massage techniques to provide a relaxing and de-stressing treatment to the head, neck and shoulders.
Indian Head Massage is an extremely effective therapy that has evolved from traditional techniques practiced in India as part of family rituals for over a thousand years.
This massage works on areas of the body particularly prone to stress, especially the neck and the shoulders where tension affects major muscle groups, it can often bring immediate relief.
These tensions are eased and fibrous knots and nodules melt away, no expensive equipment is required making it available to all.
No previous knowledge of Indian Head Massage is required to attend this course.
A bath towel or two small towels. Pen and a notepad for taking notes.
Please wear a short-sleeved top or a top with sleeves that can be rolled up. Oil will be used, which can stain clothing.
Almond oil is used for the treatment so please ensure that there is no allergy contraindication. If you have an allergy, please contact the tutor before the course starts to discuss alternatives.
