About this course

A follow-on course from Italian for Beginners which gives the opportunity to learn more of the basics of the language as well as a bit more about the culture to allow you to make the most of a future holiday in Italy.  Throughout the course we will practise and apply our knowledge of simple Italian to build confidence in speaking and understanding (including talking about future plans).  As with Italian for Beginners, there will be a focus on usable phrases, with grammar introduced where it is helpful (including common irregular verbs and the future tense).

  • More on travelling and sightseeing in Italy and booking/buying tickets for this (including talking about future plans and phrases to use when things go wrong).
  • Hobbies and expressing likes and dislikes
  • Grammar – irregular present tense verbs and regular future tense.

Note-taking materials as well as suitable device for connecting to the session and a quiet space.
