About this course

Ever wanted to learn Italian but unsure whether a language course is right for you? This course will teach Italian vocabulary and basic grammar concepts through listening to songs and the language used within them.

We will cover roughly 10 Italian songs ranging from old folklore classics to songs famous from the radio or songs that the students may have heard or part translations of famous English songs – singers will include Andrea Boccelli, Tiziano Ferro, Laura Pausini and more.

You will learn hundreds of new words and verbs in Italian and gain an appreciation of some Italian grammar rules and be introduced to the meanings of songs that they previously wouldn’t have understood.

No previous knowledge is needed to participate in this course; however, the course would be highly beneficial for any learner of Italian who is looking to extend their vocabulary.
