About this course

About this course

This course aims to improve your Maths skills and your confidence in using these whilst working towards a Level 2 City & Guilds qualification, which is equivalent to a GCSE Grade 4/C. You will work on your number, measures, shape and space and handling data. You will be asked to complete an initial assessment to find out your starting point and whether this is the right course for you. Your exam will take place towards the end of course.

This course runs for 14 weeks and will primarily be delivered online but your exam will take place in a Nottinghamshire library, provided Covid-19 restrictions have lifted sufficiently to make this possible. We will keep you updated as the course progresses. The sessions will take place during Nottinghamshire school term time only.

You will require access to a laptop or PC with internet access on which group Zoom classes will be delivered by your tutor. You will also need pen, pencil, paper/notepad, ruler, eraser and a calculator. If you need help accessing any of this, including support with Zoom, please contact your course leader/tutor or ask@inspireculture.org.uk or call 01623 677 200.
