About this course

In this workshop, we will look at what Meditation is and how to do it. You will gain an understanding of how breathing techniques can influence Meditation and our well-being and be able to prepare your meditation environment.  We will explore how to improve our imagination, and cover the many benefits associated with meditation.  We will also look at how to use mantras and affirmations and how beneficial they are, and how to release tension, anxiety and reduce pain using the techniques learned.


On this course we will cover:

- What meditation is and how to practice it using a variety of “tools”

- The use of our breath and techniques

- Conducive factors on preparation, our imagination, the benefits of meditation, mantras and affirmations

- How to release tension, anxiety and reduce pain. 


Learners should bring a drink – water or juice, a cushion and blanket or wrap, comfortable clothes, notebook and pen,

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
