About this course

About this course

This course will introduce you to what meditation is and how to practice it.  We will look at a variety of tools and techniques, covering conducive factors on preparation, our imagination, the benefits of meditation, mantras and affirmations, effects of colour and the role of chakras and how to balance these, how to release tension and the use of our breath.

By the end of the course, you will be able to understand and show knowledge of what external factors help to promote and make meditation easier and how breathing techniques can be used to support this.  You will be able to apply different meditation techniques and show an understanding of how to use them in different situations, such as using meditation to support our well-being.
