About this course

This course is an introduction to meditation practices and will explore the history of meditation and relaxation techniques.  We will cover the background of meditation and how to implement it into daily life.


No past experience in meditation is required to participate on this course, just an interest to learn meditation.  Throughout the course, we will:

- Acknowledge the background of meditation and follow relaxing guided meditations

- Review different types of meditation and build techniques to suit your own lifestyle

- Use affirmations and Mantras within meditation and complete out loud, on in the mind

- Relate to self love meditations and experiment with techniques

- Practice a variety of meditations and assemble a meditation practice using them


Please dress in loose, comfortable clothing

Learners may wish to bring a blanket or jumper as temperature may drop during meditation

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
