About this course

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

  • Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING
  • Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

In addition, we no longer receive funding for our accredited courses for learners living in devolved areas (Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Greater Manchester, Greater London, Liverpool City Region, Tees Valley, West Midlands and West of England) so full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas.


This Online Adult Mental Health First Aid Two Day course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider. You will get an MHFA manual to keep and refer to whenever you need it. When you complete the two days, you'll get a certificate to say you are a Mental Health First Aider.

These sessions will be delivered on enabley over 6 2 hour online classes. 

  • Session 1- Introduction, Stress Container, The Mental Health Continuum, Understanding depression 
  • Session 2- Depression and Suicide. Statistics and Case Studies 
  • Session 3- Anxiety Disorders. Co-existing conductions; eating disorders, self-harm and personality disorder. 
  • Session 4- Psychosis- Understanding Schizophrenia and Bi Polar disorder. Complete case studies and your action plan. 

Pre work will be sent to learners from the tutor, including full course joining instructions. 

All learners will need a comprehensive understanding on the English language, as reading and completing online activities is essential to the completion of this course. 

This is an online course. A suitable electronic device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access will be required.
