About this course

About this course

Mindful Journaling and Nature aims to give a cathartic approach to writing and diary keeping, with an emphasis on creativity, mental health and goal pursuing. The course begins with exploring what mindfulness is and how writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you to be in the present. The course progresses to incorporating nature into your journaling and exploring how being in nature can help to bring peace and clarity.

This course will help you to understand the benefits of journaling. It covers what Mindfulness is, how it is used and how nature can teach us to go within and embrace patience, non-striving, and acceptance. We will cover how to use creativity in journaling, using drawing techniques to better understand our surroundings and to create space from thoughts. The course covers how to track progress in a supportive way, and how to get to know yourself better.
