About this course

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

• Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING
• Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been a resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in the UK with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

Learn simple ways of improving some of your photos. and more advanced processes which produce more significant changes. 

On this course you will learn how to: 

• Digitise an image. 
• Change: brightness, contrast, colour. 
• Remove specific areas of an image. 
• Combine two or more images. 
• Repair/restore images. 

You will need: 

• The GIMP.  Download from: www.gimp.org at their own risk.  Avoid downloading from other sources. 
• Preferably a device which has at least a 30cm screen and a mouse (a tablet using fingers to input might prove unsatisfactory.) 
• Pen and paper. 
• Your own images. 

This is an online course. A suitable electronic device such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone with internet access will be required. Learners will be required to download and use Zoom (free software).
