About this course
This course will introduce you to the beginning teachings in Japanese eastern Usui Reiki. Learning Reiki promotes better mental health, boosts confidence with practice and connects with wellbeing life skills to maintain once the course is completed. Upon completion of this level, you become qualified to practice reiki for yourselves, friends, and family. You will receive a lineage chart and reiki certificate once you have attended and completed all the course content. Shoden is traditional Japanese eastern reiki and accessible to all age groups. Reiki level 2 Okuden is the next stage in the reiki journey, At this stage you can set up to become a self-employed reiki practitioner, volunteer as a reiki therapist, or use it for personal and family health and wellbeing.
You will cover an Introduction to Inspire and the course overview on the first session. You will then start to learn reiki and the precepts. The next part of this level 1 shoden are the energy exercises which Include three diamonds, working with your energy ball and hatsurei ho. There will be meditation practices included before moving onto yourself reiki techniques and which hand positions to use when. To practice skills for life. You will then complete pair work to practice reiki techniques and hand positions; this will boost confidence. Upon completion you will receive lineage charts from your tutor's lineage and certificates.
What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
Describe each precept and identify each precept meaning with areas of your life
Review reiki exercises and estimate when to integrate them to your daily life
Demonstrate self-reiki hand positions and observe how long to stay in each hand position
Experiment with meditation as a practice and investigate which techniques are beneficial to promote your personal life skills
Measure reiki in pair work and evaluate how this builds confidence
If this is a 6 week course You will Build more confidence in practicing pair work with different individuals and adapt accordingly.

To enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
