Reiki Level 1 (Shoden) is your first step into the gentle, grounding world of Reiki. Across five uplifting weeks, you’ll explore the history and principles of Reiki, learn how energy flows through the body, and develop simple but powerful techniques for self-healing and emotional balance.
You’ll practice grounding, protection, and intuitive awareness, while learning the traditional hand positions used in Reiki self-treatment. Each session blends meditation, guided practice, and reflective discussion to help you build confidence and deepen your personal wellbeing.
By the end of the course, you’ll have a strong foundation for continuing your Reiki journey—whether for personal growth or future practitioner level training.
Throughout the course we will cover:
Week 1 – Reiki History & Principles Introduction to Usui Reiki, the Five Precepts, lineage, and the purpose of Reiki practice.
Week 2 – Energy, Grounding & Protection Understanding energy flow, grounding techniques, energetic boundaries, and self‑awareness.
Week 3 – Self‑Treatment Techniques Learning and practicing hand positions, breathwork, and basic treatment routines.
Week 4 – Intuition & Energetic Sensitivity Developing intuitive awareness, recognising Byosen (energetic feedback), and building confidence.
Week 5 – Integration, Reflection & Next Steps Guided self‑treatment, reflective journaling, and progression routes into wellbeing or practitioner training.
Resources required:
Bottle of Water.
