The internet is a fantastic tool, but with the rise of artificial intelligence and sophisticated impersonation tactics, staying safe online can feel overwhelming. Our comprehensive two hour Scam proofing course is designed to empower you with the practical skills to identify and avoid common digital dangers.

This welcoming, two-way conversational session is entirely beginner friendly. You do not need any prior knowledge to join this session, and there is no need to bring any equipment with you.

A glimpse of what you will learn (plus much more):

• Spotting Fake Websites & Phishing: Learn why a padlock icon on a website does not always mean it is secure. Discover how to spot deceptive typos in web addresses and identify fake online shops. You will also learn how to recognise phishing emails designed to steal your identity, banking details, or passwords.

• Tackling AI & Text Scams: Understand how criminals use Artificial Intelligence to make their scams more convincing. Learn how to fight back using tools like reverse image searches and a WhatsApp AI tool

Delivered by expert tutor, this course offers a safe, supportive environment to reflect on your digital habits and ask questions.
