Over this 4 hour session you will cover the steps needed to guide through the legalities of setting up a therapy business. Including how to self-promote with the use of social media. This Course is designed to give you the tools required to explore Becoming Self Employed or Volunteer in the Holistic Industry. This course is Great as a Starter or as an Awareness if you are recently new to Self-Employment You will start with an introduction to inspire and the course breakdown. Then move onto what the cobra system is and how this relates to nottinghamshire libraries. Cover the basics of select therapies and what certificates levels are required to become self-employed. You will go through the legalities required, what insurance cover is required. Look into local authorities, who to notify and when. Highlight business banking basics. Setting up your utr (unique tax reference number) and research if you need to be part of any associations related to your holistic therapy. Exploring websites design, should you pay or design your own. The information is based on wix sites. (others are available) Finishing with how to self-Promote through social media. You will understand hashtags and seo. Upon completion of the course, you will gain a certificate of attendance. What will learners achieve by the end of the course? Recognise different therapies within the holistic umbrella and Discuss qualifications required for self-employment Clarify legalities required and execute the right path for your business Manage your own website and / or use an outside company for Design Build a social media profile and formulate self promotion using hashtags and seo If you are with the uk reiki federation(or other governing bodies the certificate for this course will go towards the courses attended for the year's cpd.
