About this course

This course is a beginner guide to decorating cakes and cupcakes with a selection of easter themed decorations including a rabbit down a hole showing feet and tail with carrots and sheep head topper. You will learn how to make daffodils and calla lilies and a fondant easter egg.  

You will learn skills and techniques using some cutters and some free style modelling.  

Some previous experience will be required to attend the course.  During this course, you will learn: 

• How to make rabbit bunny feet, tail, and carrots  

• How to make daffodils  

• How to make cala lilies  

• How to create a sheep head  

• How to use make a fondant easter egg  

Learners will have produced a selection of designs to decorate and enhance any celebration cake or cupcake.  

Resources required by attendees

  • Cupcakes, buttercream piping nozzle of choice and bag ( optional)   
  • Fondant Icing or modelling paste  
  • Sugar florist paste  
  • Colours white, pink, orange, yellow, black, green  any colours for the fondant egg 
  • Board  
  • Rolling pin 
  • Corn flour 
  • Ball tool 
  • Dresden tool  
  • Cell pad  
  • Drying foam  
  • Edible glue 
  • Cocktail stick  
  • Heart cutter  
  • Sugar and yellow edible dust  
  • Daffodil cutter  
  • Small piping nozzle 
  • Marshmallows 
  • Note pad and pen

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
